We had a great time watching the first game against Navy with Daniel and Elizabeth. It was a win, let's just leave it at that.

Ballet

Clara had her first lesson at the BalletMet downtown on Saturday. This is a "serious" dance school. I was, it turns out needlessly, fretting about not having the right kind of socks, or not having Clara's hair pulled back in a bun the right way. At her level they aren't as picky, yet. Whew. Clara had a fun time after her initial reluctance to stay in class without her parents. Maybe we overemphasized the need to listen and follow directions, do what the teacher says... I guess we're officially ballet parents now!

Tennis Lessons

This morning Clara had a tennis lesson. I told you she's busy. What are we going to do when Nicholas starts to get involved in activities ?!?

Today her coach hit balls to the kids from the other side of the net. Clara has a great swing, but poor timing =) . Oh well, as we remind her frequently, practice makes perfect.
