Clara's violin teacher gave us tickets to a great outdoor pops concert titled "Abracadabra". Before the actual concert the Columbus Youth Pops Orchestra performed. Here is some footage of Nicholas "feeling" one of their pieces...

A Day at the Fair

We like to go to the Franklin County Fair and check out Monica's students animals and 4H projects. My "horse student" had already won 20 ribbons and qualified to go to the State Fair. One other student won best of show for her sewing project and also qualified for the State Fair.

Of course, Nicholas was mostly interested in the Star Wars collections.

We were so inspired that we decided to enter art work, photography and flowers next year. Maybe there are blue ribbons in our future???

STORM!!!!!

We will always remember the 2010 family reunion! As we were packing up and almost ready to leave we got caught up in a terrible thunderstorm.

Everyone who was left huddled up under the shelter while the winds blew.

Happy 4th of July!

We celebrated America's birthday with the Ritters yesterday evening. Great friends, yummy food, and lots of fun was had by all. Sorry I don't have any pictures of that part of our evening. Then we, the Rudys, went to see the Grove City fireworks.
